Estate Planning
In its simplest form, estate planning is the succession of property. Whether it is through a will,
trust, or other instrument, estate planning is the transfer of property from one generation to the
next. Property includes both personal property and real property, from the family home, to
family photos, to stocks and bonds.
What is a Will?
A legal declaration which details the transfer of your property at death.
Who needs a Will?
Anyone over the age of 18 but especially mothers and fathers. It is vital that parents properly
plan for the future of their children.
How is a Will created?
1. A written declaration of your wishes
2. Signed
3. Witnessed, as defined by NH statute
